Ultra High Performance
The QHY128C has a full-frame size 24mega pixels, 14bit CMOS IMX128 sensor. This sensor is also used in the D600 camera. It has 4e low readout noise at lowest gain and 2.7e low readout noise at unity gain(system gain = 1e/adu) and 1.8e ultra low readout noise at high gain. QHY367C has a nice dynamic range of 14STOPs.
 
True RAW Image Output
The QHY128C has the same CMOS sensor as the Nikon D600. Although DSLRs have the RAW image output, it is still typically not a truly raw image. You will find the de-noise sign on the raw images from the hot pixel styles. While the QHY128C offers the TRUE RAW IMAGE OUTPUT and it gives original signal and keeps maximum flexibility of astronomy image processing.
 
Unique Thermal Noise Reduction Technology
Besides the 2-stage TEC, QHYCCD has a unique thermal noise control technology to get the cmos sensor very low thermal noise and make the entire 165/168/247/367 product line have much better thermal noise performance than any other competitor.
 
128MB DDRII Image Buffer
The QHY128C has 128MB DDRII image buffer to help the image cache to avoid the risk of dropped frames. The data will store in the memory buffer first then transfer to computer. It will avoid the USB port becoming data logged when there is more USB3.0 camera connected.
 
Anti-Dew Technology
With the long time experience of the cooled CCD camera design, QHYCCD has the full anti-dew technology for both CCD senesor surface glass and the optic window glass. The QHY128C has an electric heating board for the CCD glass window to prevent the window dewing over, and a silicon gel tube socket design to control the humidity within CMOS chamber.
 
AR+AR optic widnow
In order to avoid halos around bright stars, the QHY128C has a AR+AR coating optic window rather than the common IR cut window for OSC color cameras. You will need to use your own IR cut filter on the front of the camera. QHYCCD supplies a 2inch filter holder.

QHYCCD WINDOWS SDK
There are many software control QHYCCD camera via the QHYCCD SDK. You can download the last release QHYCCD SDK to update in first time. (Sometimes the software will be not so fast to package it). The method is download the QHYCCD SDK Package and copy the QHYCCD.DLL to the software's folder and replace the old QHYCCD.DLL. . For 64bit version you need to copy the QHYCCD_X64.DLL to the software's folder and rename into QHYCCD.DLL and replace the old one.
