Description

The QHY23M camera uses Sony's latest high sensitivity ExviewII CCD sensor ICX814. This sensor has very high QE(close to 80%) and very low thermal noise. With QHYCCD's dual stage TEC cooling technology these camera will achieve -45°C temperature below ambient. Compared with the competitor, this temperature gives -10 to -15C extra cooling and it will give you very low thermal current even in a hot summer.
 
The readout noise of QHY23M is also very low, typically 5 electrons. The readout noise is important when you capture faint deep sky objects or when using narrow band filters. Less readout noise means you can get better final images. In other words, you can get the same quality images with fewer pictures.
 
The QHY23M has a solid design. It comes with a USB/Power cable fixer. With this fixer the USB and power cable will never be unintentionally removed from camera and it will ensure constant electrical contact.
