Description
Vertical (Y-axis) balancing
The Vertical Balancing Bracket is installed on one of the side plates. It will take a 4kg or 8kg counterweight. By sliding the counterweight up down it is possible to adjust the altitude axle balance when the telescope is pointing at high altitudes.
Azimuth balancing
When using a single heavy (+15 kg) side-mounted telescope the Vertical Balancing Bracket can be installed on the opposite side and hold an 8kg counterweight to achieve better Azimuth balance. This is mainly to stabilize the tripod and secure that it cannot tilt over. This will also take care of Vertical (Y-axis) balancing.

The Vertical Balancing Bracket for the TS-160 Panther Lite can be easily installed for a quick and stable set-up.
High Capacity
The Vertical Balancing Bracket can hold up to 1 Panther Lite Counterweight either the 4kg or 8kg version.
