This long mount handle allows the user to move the telescope without putting pressure on the focuser when using a Stellarvue mount. The handle attaches to the dovetail shoe on any Stellarvue mount (except the M001V). Made to attach directly to the TDLV which comes with the M002C mount head. This handle will also work with former model (now discontinued) Stellarvue TD-065 Vixen style and TD0077 Losmandy style Stellarvue shoes.
This handle attaches to the mount shoe with a single 1/4-20 X 1" stainless socket cap head screws as seen in the picture above. Rotating either shoe 180 degrees allows the handle to be placed either above or below the centerline. The handle is made of 6061-T6 aluminum bar with a cushioned grip. A hole is drilled at the short end and the included 1/4-20 X 1" socket cap head screw is used to mount the handle to the shoe. A foam grip is included on the other end.
This handle is designed specifically for Stellarvue shoes* and probably will not work on other brands.
