These high quality mounts are perfect for your telescope and come packed with a variety of features. Including a fully locking, unique tangent arm design altitude adjustment for between 6-68 degrees, with a large knob for easy alignment. A Laser engraved latitude scale in 2 degree increments. A single knob azimuth control is bi-directional +/- 8.5 degree. 5.000” diameter laser engraved setting circles, 4 minute R.A., vernier reading to 1 minute / 1 degrees DEC., vernier reading to 0.1 degree. R.A. circle engraved for Northern and Southern Hemisphere. The Dovetail saddle-plate fits both "D" Losmandy Style Dovetail or Vixen Style Dovetail. Allows for the interchanging of any tube assembly, reduces need for DEC weights. 5.625" diameter, 7075 aluminum worm gear, 360 tooth. Dual supported, ball-bearing-housed, high precision, ground brass worm. Removable stainless steel 1-1/4 inch diameter weight shaft w/safety knob. A 21 lb counterweight is included, but 7 lb and 11 lb extra counterweights are available.
The optional folding HD tripod is all machined aluminum, black anodized. Tripod height is adjustable from 33" to 48" and weighs 35lbs. The folding leg design is easily transported.
