Description
Introducing the Fluorostar 120 APO from William Optics, a precision-crafted apochromatic refractor designed to meet the exacting demands of modern astrophotographers. With a 120mm aperture and a 780mm focal length (f/6.5), this telescope is optimized for both clarity and performance.
The Fluorostar 120 features a triplet lens system using FPL-53 glass, ensuring superior aberration correction and crystal-clear imaging. It is equipped with a heavy-duty 3.3" Rack & Pinion focuser with a built-in rotator, allowing for precise focusing and easy framing of celestial objects.
Durably constructed, the telescope includes a newly designed saddle handle bar made from CNC-anodized aluminum, which also serves as a mount for William Optics uniguide and other Vixen-type finder bases. The integrated patented Bahtinov Mask, made from a material three times lighter than traditional masks, ensures perfect focusing with ease.
This telescope's mounting system includes a Losmandy-type plate, providing solid support and versatility in setup. Whether capturing distant galaxies or shooting detailed lunar landscapes, the Fluorostar 120 APO is an excellent choice for serious astrophotography endeavors, offering both robust construction and stunning optical performance.
