Adopt a Scope
Our expert team of staff are astronomers themselves. Most often, whatever issue you are experiencing is one we have already dealt with on our own gear. We know how important it is to get the troubleshooting done quickly and accurately in order to get you back up and running.
If you have a problem with your equipment, but you didn't purchase it originally from Cloud Break Optics, there are two service options available:
Gear Purchased with Other Retailers:
We can provide the same equipment support to our customers who purchased equipment from other vendors, for a nominal fee. We offer support services at an hourly rate of $75 or, if you’d like to receive the same free support that our customers receive, inquire about our “adopt-a-scope” program. For a nominal fee of 10% of the equipment cost, we will adopt your system as one of our own and support you in your observing and imaging experience.
