Description

QHY16200A/IC16200A uses a unique APS-H CCD sensor, a product of close collaboration between QHYCCD and their sensor supplier . This sensor is specially designed and manufactured with amateur astronomers in mind who needs mono sensor larger than APS-C. 
 
 
APS-H Format CCD Sensor
The effective image area is 27mm*21.6mm. To compare with the QHY8L APS-C format 23.4*15.8, the APS-H sensor is significantly bigger. No mono sensor exists between 8300(4/3inch) to 11002(full size) - enter the APS-H. At 16 mega-pixels, the APS-H format is suitable for most telescopes and, due to it's size, is also compatible with 2-inch filters.
The pixel size of this sensor is 6.0um*6.0um, which is slightly bigger than the 8300's 5.4um. The QE is expected to similar or higher than 8300. The 41ke fullwell is much higher than the 25.5ke of 8300.
This sensor has both a mono and color version. By default QHY16200A/IC16200A uses the mono version, with the color version being available by request (call).
"A" Series Camera - Fully Integrated
Both QHY90A and IC90A belong to QHYCCD new "A" series camera family. "A" stands for "ALL-IN-ONE".  It includes a built-in motor driven filter wheel and it natively supports the QHYOAG. The OAG can be installed on the camera solidly with six screws at minimum back focus, precious for some optical systems.  
The "IC" version of the camera is the "InterCam."  QHY InterCam Series Cameras are the world first open source standalone Astronomy Cooled Deep Sky Camera and world first Camera with fully Internet Connection Camera via WIFI/ethernet.  InterCam can be used entirely without a computer.  InterCam has VGA/HDMI output to allow you install a  monitor on the telescope. You can use the wireless keyboard to control it. Unlike DSLR's small LCD, You can use a bigger LCD screen and use professional astronomy capture software. No extra cables are necessary apart from the power cable. Images are saved directly into the camera. If you still want to use computer to control it, you can use WIFI to connect with the camera. Still no extra cable needed. The camera has an operational distance of 20 meters. A wireless router can be used if additional distance is desired. 
The filter wheel in QHY16200A/IC16200A is 5-position for unmounted 2-Inch filters. The camera compatible with the small size QHYOAG. 
Besides the filter wheel and OAG, the "A" series camera has more to offer. An internal USBHUB(2.0) provides two USB host port and a USB to dual RS232 converter. Guiding camera, mount and electric focuser can be connected directly to this camera instead of the computer to reduce cable clutter and chance of signal loss due to the long cables. Only one USB cable is necessary to connect to the computer.
Butterfly Shutter - unlimited life and uniform illumenation 
This camera uses a mechanical butterfly shutter that is frictionless. The working life is almost unlimited and provides uniform illumination of the sensor.
Single 12V power socket with screw lock and USB Clip
This camera uses the single 12V to power. The power socket has the thread, it can  connect with the thread lock on the DC plug to get a solid connection. There is another socket which is connected with the input in parallel that can supply 12V to other nearby devices. Also, since USB is designed for commercial electric uses, it is not solid and the contact is not ideal for applications requiring high-reliability. It isn't uncommon for a telescope slew to pull the USB cable out of the camera enough to interfere with data transfer. In the "A" series design QHYCCD makes a unique stainless steel USB cable clip to improve it.
