The following filter sets are available for purchase without a camera unit:

  • LRGB 7nm HSO

The astronomical filters included with the miniCAM8 deepsky combos are custom-designed to match the specific characteristics of the cameras. The size is 19 mm * 12 mm * 1.1 mm. The LRGB and SHO narrowband filters for the miniCAM8M deepsky combo are customized by XiMei Filters. The filters have an optical density (OD) value of 5.

  • LRGB 3nm HSO

Compared with the original Deep Sky Filter Set, the EVO version features upgraded optical-coating technology and narrower bandpasses for the narrowband filters. The filters have an OD value of 5.

  • Color Cam Deep Sky Filter Set
    • Light pollution filter (LPF)
    • High light pollution filter (HLP)
    • Four channel enhancement filter (FCE)
    • UV/IR cut

The filters provided with the miniCAM8C deepsky combo are customized by Optolong Optics. These include a light pollution filter (LPF), a heavy light pollution filter (HLP), a four-channel enhancement filter (FCE), and a UV/IR cut filter.

  • Planetary filter set
    • LRGB filters
    • Methane 20nm filter (CH4)
    • UV pass 40nm filter
    • Sodium 10nm filter (Na)

7 filters: LRGB broadband filters, 20nm Methane filter, 40nm UV filter, 10nm Na filter (589nm). They are customized by XiMei Filters.

  • Sloan photometric filter set
    • u', g', r', i', z'

They are customized by XiMei Filters.

  • ArIII 7nm filter 

The Ar III (Argon III) filter is a narrowband filter centered around 713nm, designed to capture the specific emission line of triply ionized argon. This emission line is commonly observed in planetary nebulae, H II regions, emission-line galaxies, and in the spectroscopy of ionized gases in laboratory plasmas.
