This scope is in great condition. It is the 4" focuser version of the Starfire EDF 140. Optics appear to be in good condition. Focuser is smooth. Comes in its original foam lined hard case.
Two front mounted tilt-tuned Lunt 100mm H-alpha filters (LS100FHa) are included, as well as a B1800 blocking filter diagonal. These additional components allow you to turn this fine refractor into a superb Ha solar observing telescope, with the ability to use it for night time observing as well. Wavelength FWHM will be ≤0.5A with this filter combination. Both front and back of the filters are photographed. They are in very good condition. Serial numbers are 2009038 and 2009039.
As is typical with pre-owned gear, there are some signs of use, such as slight scraping and scratching on cosmetic surfaces. Optical surfaces appear very clear.
